We are based in Li\u00e8ge, Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>The school is an independent organisation. It is not affiliated with any government body and has no connection with any Greek community or organisation in Belgium or abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Our goal and ambition is to provide you with high-quality, engaging lessons in our native language, Modern Greek, while also introducing you to Greek culture and civilisation through the language.<\/p>\n<p>Our philosophy is to offer outstanding teaching that is adapted to your expectations and motivation, while above all responding to your passion and love for courses.<\/li>\n<li>Manager of the website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grec-moderne.be\/en\/\">www.grec-moderne.be<\/a> and the Grec Moderne Facebook page.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinator of the other services offered by the school.<\/li>\n<li>Teacher and supervisor for language immersion courses in Greece.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Background:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Historian, born on <strong>1 August 1976<\/strong> in Thessaloniki, Greece.<\/li>\n<li>Moved to Belgium in <strong>1980<\/strong> and is based in Li\u00e8ge.<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s degree in Philosophy and Literature, specialising in History, from the <strong>University of Li\u00e8ge<\/strong>, graduating in <strong>1999<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Specialised in Byzantine history, with a thesis entitled:<br \/>\n<em>\u201cHistory of the Political, Diplomatic, Commercial and Cultural Relations Between Byzantium and the Republic of Venice.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Modern Greek teacher and founder of <strong>Grec Moderne<\/strong>, established in <strong>2008<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Fully bilingual and a native Greek speaker.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\t<div id=\"col-451165547\" class=\"col medium-4 small-12 large-4\"  >\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-inner\"
